Long Day Care Professional Development Programme funding
Thinking about your Long Day Care Professional Development Programme funding from the Department of Education?
Want to invest in quality customised learning opportunities for you team?
Community Child Care (CCC) can assist you in identifying your unique professional development needs in order to support quality outcomes for children. We work with individuals, groups and whole service teams to help identify needs, plan, design and deliver customised and targeted professional learning and development to suit.
The Australian Government’s Long Day Care Professional Development Programme (LDCPDP) will fund Long Day Care (LDC) services to assist their educators to meet the qualification requirements under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and to improve practice to ensure quality outcomes for children. A key focus will be quality and equity. The LDCPDP will allow LDC services to identify their specific professional development needs in order to support the NQF, adhere to the National Quality Standard and deliver the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or approved learning framework. Services will be able to use the funding to meet their training and skills development needs and will have the flexibility to do so in-line with the circumstances of their service.
Here is just a taste of the professional learning that CCC has to offer...,
Managing quality coaching program
Designed exclusively for Long Day Care services, this coaching program consists of a series of six, 2hr sessions that are delivered over six months. It includes networking and mentoring opportunities. The program focus is on those in management roles. CCC offers this program to Directors, 2IC’s, and delivers one-on-one to services, or as team learning, in groups of up to four people.
Planning day facilitation
Whether it’s strategic planning or quality improvement planning, CCC can facilitate your strategic thinking and consequent planning, celebrating who you are, identifying what you want or where you want to be, and planning how you are going to get there.
Team development workshops
Half day or full day, these workshops facilitate learning and sharing between educators by bringing your team together to recognise personal and team strengths, and identify strategies to assist in efficient and effective team functioning. Educators will be guided by one of CCC’s professional learning facilitators.
This is just a sample of what we have on offer – Contact CCC on (03) 9486 3455 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about our customised sessions and other professional development options to suit your service and team needs.
