Reflecting on CCC's OSHC Conference 2016 - Learning Through Play and Leisure
In May 2016, CCC was please to present our first biennial conference, Learning Through Play and Leisure, a 2 day event that was held at Moonee Valley Racecourse, created specifically with Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in mind! The conference included keynote speakers as well as workshops, a trade expo and an opportunity for educators to network at the conference party at the close of the first day of the conference.
CCC understands how important it is to the OSHC sector to have professional learning that is specific and targeted, where OSHC professionals can come together to learn, share, network and celebrate the valuable work you do on a daily basis with tens of thousands of Victorian children and families. With a unique focus on all things OSHC, this was an opportunity for all OSHC professionals wanting to share and learn with other OSHC professionals from across Victoria and interstate and to hear from an inspiring array of presenters.
Quotes from participants:
“ Thank you for 2 inspiring days many ideas and thoughts to assist my work with change and educators”
“ Thanks for the opportunity, less conferences are occurring within the sector. Great information to pass onto our educators”
“ Well organised conference and great atmosphere”
“ Thank you for a fantastic and informative conference”
